New Pain Therapy introduced in India, a first in South Asia

Bengaluru: In a first in South Asia, 20 medical practitioners received their training certificates for Liebscher & Bracht Pain Therapy, a popular European natural pain relief method, from spiritual master and humanitarian Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar at The Art of Living International Center.
With an alarming rise in the prevalence of chronic pain in India and over reliance on temporary pain medication, the new pain therapy holds immense promise in natural and sustained healing without the side effects of painkillers.

“We should learn whatever is good from every corner of the world,” said Gurudev, “For relief from mental pain there is knowledge and for relief from physical pain, there is pain therapy. This knowledge should reach more and more people. One fifth of world's population lives here. So we will have more and more people trained to create a pain-free happy society. A healthy body, a healthy mind and a happy soul is our aim.”

Hailing from Germany, Roland Liebscher-Bracht and Dr Petra Bracht have spent 35 years in developing a pain therapy that directly addresses the root cause of all forms of musculoskeletal pain, using movement and osteopressure, a system of 72 pressure points for most pains located along the body from head to toe.

“I was happy to hear and see good results from the sessions taken by new therapists,” Roland Liebscher-Bracht shared, “I was really astonished to see their quality. It's very important to be pain free. We make it (pain relief) very simple. We found out that most pain in the body is only because of stress in muscles and fascia. 72% of the pain reduces in the very first session. After that, we give them specific exercises. They are available for free on YouTube.”

Since 2007, they have been training doctors, alternative practitioners, physiotherapists and osteopaths in their Liebscher & Bracht pain therapy, which has been growing popular owing to its effectiveness. So far, over 13,000 participants in Europe have completed this training program. Petra and Roland have published 22 books in 7 languages on the subject of self-help for pain and healthy nutrition, most of which are bestsellers. They have around 3.5 million followers on social media (their YouTube channel is the largest health channel in Europe with over 2 million followers).

"After my accident, which required me to undergo multiple surgeries, I had such bad pain. I was not able to get up from the bed or walk by myself. But after just one session, I am able to walk again," shared Ajay Khimji, Director, Khimji Ramdas LLC, Oman.

Roland Liebscher-Bracht is one of the most prominent figures in the field of pain therapy worldwide and has received in 2023 the Youtube Award for the most successful Health Channel in Youtube in Europe in 2023.

Pain therapy can now be availed at Sri Sri Tattva Panchakarma center at The Art of Living international center between Monday and Saturday.
