One coach of Ajmer-Sealdah Express catches fire, passengers pull emergency chain, jumped out the train

Kaushambi (UP): A general coach of Ajmer-Sealdah Express caught fire due to a short circuit in the Kokhraj area of Kaushambi district here in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, police sources said here.
 
Police sources said that the incident took place near Bharwari railway crossing when the general coach of the express train caught fire due to the short circuit.
 
"The incident led to chaos among the passengers, who pulled the emergency chain and jumped out the train," they said.
 
Sources said that the police and railway staff reached the spot and doused the fire after an effort of 20 minutes.
 
"While no passenger was injured in the incident, the train left after half an hour," they said.
Police Inspector Vinod Kumar Maurya said that no passenger was affected in the incident. (UNI)
