PHD student found hanging, hours after her lover commits suicide

Hooghly: A PHD student Puja Seal (26) was found hanging at her Konnagar residence, after her lover allegedly committed suicide on Wednesday, West Bengal Police said on Friday. 

Police claimed that they have found a written note from the scene of crime of the philosophy student, who chose to end her life after her lover committed suicide over a trivial matter between them.

Her neighbour Monojit Singh (28), who was a private firm employee allegedly committed suicide on Wednesday evening at his home in Konnagar.

Puja visited the scene of the crime and returned home. The next morning she was found hanging in the bathroom. (UNI)
