Professor duo of Nashik college held for molesting class XII girl student

Nashik: Two professors of a college in the city have been arrested by police on the charge of allegedly molesting a class XII girl student.

The victim who had failed in one subject in class XII board examination for three consecutive years since 2016 was promised by the alleged accused to help her clear the subject in exam.

The alleged accused had even demanded sex with the victim if she wanted to pass the subject in which she failed repeatedly thrice, police said.

They molested her during a mock test, the girl alleged in the  complaint.The victim, fed up of the harassment that she faced over the last three years, then informed about it to her parents, who on Wednesday lodged a complaint with the Adgaon police.

Based on the complaint, police arrested the alleged accused, whose identity was not revealed, last night.Meanwhile, the college authorities has written to the police claiming that the girl has filed a false complaint against the duo.(UNI)
