Rail mishap in Kanpur kills 2

New Delhi: Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu today said a thorough probe will be launched into the rail accident near Rura station in Kanpur, Dehat district. Thirteen coaches of a Kolkata-bound Ajmer Sealdah express derailed near Rura station, killing two people and injuring around 28 passengers, some of them critically.

The Railway Minister said he has directed all the senior officers to personally monitor all the rescue and relief operations. All arrangements were being made for passengers to continue their onward journey, he said. (UNI)
