Senior BJP leader from UP’s Baghpat found dead under mysterious circumstances

Baghpat: Senior BJP leader and former state minister Dr Atmaram Tomar was found dead in a mysterious state here late Thursday night. 

A former Principal of Janata Vedic inter college, Dr Tomar (75) was found dead at his residence on Bijraul road with a towel tied on his neck.

Police here on Friday said that the SUV of the leader, who had contested the assembly polls from Chaprauli, was also missing.

Preliminary findings show that the leader could have been murdered.

However, police teams were investigating the case, SP Neeraj Jadaun said. (UNI)
