Mandya: Police have solved the murder of school Head Master Shashibushan by arresting his wife Shanthamma and daughter Navyashri who had paid supari for killing him. Police said Shashibushan was hacked to death on March 31 at Arechakanahalli by a gang of four people. The police, who pursued the case seriously, acted on a tip-off and arrested the two. Investigation has revealed that the couple had difference of opinions on issues and Shanthamma had sought divorce.
But since Shashibushan was not willing Shanthamma paid supari to kill him. Both the mother-daughter duo had given a Rs 5 lakh ‘supari’ to Suresh of Gandhinagar in Mysuru to kill Shashibushan. They had sent the photo and other details through WhatsApp. Police have launched a manhunt for Suresh. The arrested were produced before JMFC and they were remanded to judicial custody till April 15.
