Triple murder in Baghpat: Youth kills father, 2 sisters over family dispute

Baghpat: A youth killed his father and two sisters allegedly over a family dispute in Baraut town on Monday, a senior officer said here.

Inspector Devesh Kumar Sharma said that around 3 am information of triple murder was received from Kanishka Vihar. "When the police reached the spot they found the bodies of Brijpal (60), his two daughters Jyoti (24) and Anuradha (17)," he said.

He said that during initial investigation it was revealed that Brijpal's son Amar killed his father and two sisters. "Amar even tried to kill his mother Shashibala when she resisted," he said.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Neeraj Kumar Jadaun said that family feud is stated to be reason behind the triple murder. "The matter is being investigated and further details are being taken from Shashibala. Raids are being conducted to arrest the accused." he said. (UNI)
