UP Shocker: Man beheads wife over suspicion of affair in Barabanki, surrendered before police with severed head (VIDEO)

Barabanki (UP): A man beheaded his wife allegedly on the suspicion of illicit relationship after which he surrendered before the police in Fatehpur area of Barabanki district here in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, police sources said here.

Police sources said that Anil Kannaujiya, a resident of Basra village, suspected that his wife Vandana (26) was having an illicit relationship. "The couple had a dispute over the issue several times. On Friday morning Anil beheaded his wife with a sharp-edged weapon over the issue," they said.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Chiranjivi Nath Sinha said that the matter was being investigated following the arrest of the murder accused.
