UP: Vendor slips from moving train while unloading his items, dies

Auraiya (UP): A vendor died after he slipped from a moving train on Phaphund railway station on Delhi-Howrah route here in Uttar Pradesh, Government Railway Police (GRP) sources said here on Wednesday.
 
Sources said that Vishram Singh (45), a resident of Nihari village, worked as a vendor on Phaphund railway station.

"Late on Tuesday night he was coming back from Kanpur on Sangam Express. While he was unloading his items at the railway station the train started moving in which Vishram slipped and came under its wheels," they said.
 
Sources said that some passengers who witnessed the incident raised an alarm after which the train halted. "Vishram, who was seriously injured, was admitted to community health center Dibiyapur where he succumbed to injuries," they said.
 
The victim's son Deepak said that his father had gone to Kanpur to purchase items for the canteen and the incident took place while he was returning. (UNI)
