Chennai: In a shocking incident, a woman murdered her husband after he tried to sexually abuse last night. Police said the woman, Yuvarani, (24) was married to Rajkumar (30) , an auto driver and the couple were living in Kodungaiyur. The couple would visit their native village at Pothur near Avadi every week.
Yesterday, Yuvarani was in the Pothur house, when a drunk Rajkumar tried to sexually abuse her. An enraged Yuvarani threw a stone of his face and Rajkumar died on the spot. She then locked the house and left to Kodungaiyur. Later, she surrendered before the MKB Nagar police station today morning. Police have registered a case.
