14 yr old boy of Maha makes Guinness Book record for TT alternative hits

Latur:A 14-year-old boy here has made Guinness Book record for most alternative hits (9,512) using a table tennis paddle in one hour.

P Harikrishna, a class IX student of Raja Narayanlal Lahoti English Medium School, beat the previous record by more than 1,000 more alternative hits.

In a special function held today, he was honoured by the auspicious hands of school principal Col S A Vardan with a memento.       

On this occasion, his parents P Vivekananda and P Vijayalaxmi, and tennis coach Pravin Shivangikar were present.

An elated Harikrishna said that strong support and motivation by school and parents made him believe that he can break the world record.(UNI)
