Visakhapatnam:After losing the first ODI in Chennai, Indian team will look to come with better performance in all three departments and level the three-match ODI series as they lock horns with West Indies in the second ODI at the Dr Y S  Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, here on Wednesday.
India, ranked second in ODIs , will definitely try hard to avoid a series defeat against a side which is seven spots lower in the ICC rankings.Earlier, the Kieron Pollard-led Windies team had comfortably defeated India by eight wickets in the first match in Chennai to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series and now the visitors will be eyeing a series win.

For India, the focus will be on the bowling unit, which failed to deliver in front of Windies batsmen as they chased down the target of 288 with 13 deliveries to spare in the first ODI.
One of the major concern which the Indian team management will have to address in this game, will be team balance as they were struggling to get the overs out of their 5th bowler.
Fielding also has been another issue for India as they have dropped a lot of catches, some of which have proved to be really costly.

However, the batting performances by Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer was a positive sign for India. Iyer hit a patient 70 while Pant scored his maiden fifty during their 114-run partnership. And, the team would want them to carry on with the form in the remaining matches as well.
On the other hand, West Indies outclassed India in all three departments of the game in first ODI they will look to build on their stellar performance in Chennai, where Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer scored brilliant centuries to steer the visitors to victory.

West Indies captain Kieron Pollard would want a repeat performance of Sunday's match from the bowlers also who got India's top order out cheaply and despite the Iyer-Pant partnership, they restricted India's total to a chase-able one. With India having won their last nine bilateral ODI series against West Indies,  Pollard and his team has the opportunity in Vizag to win their first ODI series against hosts since 2006.
