3rd T20: Kohli, Krunal Pandya guide India towards victory; level series 1-1

Sydney: Skipper Virat Kohli’s half century (61) not out and Krunal Pandya’s brilliant bowling spell 4/36 guided India towards 6 wicket victory in the third and final Twenty20 against Australia and levelled the series 1-1 here on Sunday at Sydney Cricket Ground.

Left-arm spinner and all-rounder Krunal Pandy struck 4/36 restricting Australia to 164/6 in the allotted 20 overs.

Chasing a target of 165 runs, India who needed five off six in the last over, It was Kohli who scored the winning run after hitting 4 in the 19.4 over of Tye’s ball. (UNI)
