Colombo: Bangladesh will tour Sri Lanka for a two-match Test series, which will be a part of the ongoing World Test Championship cycle, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced on Friday.

Bangladesh were initially scheduled to play three Tests in July 2020. The series was later rescheduled and set to be played in October-November, but was postponed due to the COVID19 pandemic.

The visitors will now arrive in Sri Lanka on April 12, and play the two Tests on April 21 to 25 and April 29 to May 3. Both the matches will be played at the Pallekele International Stadium.

Bangladesh drew their last Test series in Sri Lanka 1-1. (UNI)
