Bangkok: Ace Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth’s campaign in the ongoing BWF World Tour Finals ended with a loss against Hong Kong’s NG Ka Long Angus, here on Friday.

Srikanth went down 21-12 18-21 19-21 to Angus in his last men’s singles group B game, which lasted one hour and five minutes.

The clash was a dead-rubber with both Srikanth and Angus being out of contention for a semi-final position. Srikanth’s hopes of making the semifinals were dashed after he had lost to World No12 Wang Tzu Wei on Thursday.

Later in the day, PV Sindhu is slated to take on Pornpawee Chochuwong of Thailand in her last women’s singles group stage clash. (UNI)
