Port Elizabeth: Likewise ODI, South Africa will have to go without Faf Du Plessis in the T20 series against India. Duminy will lead the proteas in the T20 series. It is to be noted that Aiden Markram is the captain of the South African team in ODI in the absence of Faf.
Markram will not be present in the T20 series along with experienced opener Hashim Amla. Chirtian Jonker and Henrique Clasen have been selected in the team for the first time. That’s not all, pace bowler Morne Morkel, Kagiso Rabada, Imran Tahir and Lungi Angidi are also rested for the series. The team is as follow as :-
