There is an exciting news for cricket fans! Yuvraj Singh's inspiring journey from prodigy to World Cup hero to cancer survivor is being adapted into a biopic film.
The project will be produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and co-produced by Ravi Bhagchandka, renowned for 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams'.
Making the announcement, T series wrote on X, "Relive the legend's journey from the pitch to the heart of millions—Yuvraj Singh's story of grit and glory is coming soon on the big screen."
Yuvraj Singh, expressing his gratitude, said, "I am deeply honoured that my story will be showcased to millions of my fans across the globe by Bhushan ji & Ravi. Cricket has been my greatest love and source of strength through all the highs and lows. I hope this film inspires others to overcome their own challenges and pursue their dreams with unwavering passion."
The cast and other details about the film have yet to be revealed.
Howwever, Yuvraj Singh has recently suggested names of two Bollywood actors who will be potential fit for his biopic - Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ranbir Kapoor.
Back in 2020, talking about a biopic on him, Yuvraj said, “Probably, I’d play myself — that would be a bit desperate… (chuckles) hai, na? See, that’s the director’s job to decide. If it’s going to be a Bollywood film, then Siddhant Chaturvedi — the guy who played MC Sher in Gully Boy is a good option; I’d love to see him in the film.”
Earlier this year in January, Yuvraj said, “I recently watched Animal and I think Ranbir Kapoor would be the right fit for my biopic. But eventually, it’ll be the director’s call.”
