Hamilton T20: Black Caps beat India by 4 runs, clinch series 2-1

Hamilton: New Zealand beat India by 4 runs in the third and last Twenty20 sweeping the series 2-1 here on Sunday.

The Kiwis scored 212/4 while India chasing a target of 213 runs could add 208/6 in the stipulated 20 overs.

The visitors needed 16 runs to win in the last over, but they managed 11 runs. As men’s team lost few hours before the women also faced T20 series defeat by 0-3 against New Zealand.

India men’s team who have a unbeatable record from 10 series in the T20 since 2007, but here the Kiwis managed to end India’s winning spree. (UNI)
