Dubai: Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has been fined Rs 12 lakh after his team maintained a slow over-rate during their IPL 2020 match against Kings XI Punjab.

''As it was his team's first offence of the season under the IPL's Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences, Mr. Kohli was fined Rs 12 lakh,'' the IPL said in a statement on Friday.

Skipper KL Rahul's batting masterclass was on full display as KXIP beat RCB by 97 runs in the sixth match of the Indian Premier League 2020 on Thursday.(UNI)
