Mumbai: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper Ravindra Jadeja would be featuring in his 150th match for the yellow army, when his team takes the field against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match here at the DY Patil Sports Academy on Saturday.
Only two players have accomplished this feat for the CSK till date - former captain MS Dhoni (217 matches) and Suresh Raina (200 matches).
Jadeja's journey with CSK started in 2012 and through the course of a decade, he has grown from a talented player to a senior statesman.
His journey with the Super Kings saw another significant milestone when MS Dhoni handed over the captaincy to him a day before the IPL 2022 tournament opener.
The star all-rounder is the third highest wicket taker for his side, having scalped 110 wickets in 149 matches.
Moreover, the left-handed batter has amassed 1523 runs for the Yellow Brigade. (UNI)
