Perth: India loses 2nd Test to Australia by 146 runs

Perth: India on Tuesday lost the second Test against Australia at Perth by 146 runs after Kangaroos bowled them out for 146 runs in their second innings.India, who were chasing a target of 287 runs, were dismissed by Australia, leveling the series at 1-1  on the fifth and the final day.

On Sunday, India were 112 for five and needed 175 runs to win the match at the end of the fourth day's play. Today, with the loss of five wickets, the Indian innings folded for 140 in 56 overs at the Optus Stadium.India had won the opening Test at Adelaide Oval by 31 runs.(UNI)
