Mumbai: Mumbai's young batsman Musheer Khan broke legendary Sachin Tendulkar's record during the ongoing Ranji Trophy final against Vidarbha at the Wankhede Stadium here on Tuesday.
Musheer, who is the younger brother of Indian cricketer Sarfaraz Khan, scored a determined 136, making him the youngest Mumbaikar to achieve this feat in a Ranji final.
Tendulkar, on the other hand, had set the previous record when scored a century at the age of 21 during the 1994-95 Ranji Trophy final against Punjab.
Musheer achieved this milestone at the age of 19 years and 14 days, scoring his century after facing 255 balls. Interestingly, Tendulkar himself was present at the venue to witness the Mumbaikar's landmark on Day 3 of the match.
