Sachin Tendulkar, his wife visit Taj Mahal

Agra (UP): Former Indian cricket team member and master blaster Sachin Tendulkar on Thursday visited Taj Mahal along with his wife Anjali Tendulkar.

Tendulkar reached Shilpgram parking with his wife Anjali at around 3 PM from where he arrived at the eastern gate of the Taj Mahal in a golf cart amidst tight security arrangements by the Tourism Police, which took him to the Royal Gate.

After reaching the Royal Gate, Sachin also got a photo session done with his wife. After this, he reached Diana Bench where he got a photo session done with videography.

From the Diana Table, Sachin reached the main monument with his wife Anjali where he took information from the guide about the carvings done on the Taj Mahal and its history.

DCP City Suraj Rai, DCP West, ACP Taj Security, CISF personnel were present during the visit of Tendulkar and his wife to Taj Mahal. The master blaster stayed in the Taj Mahal for about 40 minutes.

DCP City Suraj Rai said that former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar along with his wife and relatives came here by a chartered plane at around 2 PM. "They left for Mumbai after visiting the Taj Mahal," he said.
