Sindhu clinches Korea Open Super Series

Seoul: India's ace badminton star P V Sindhu defeated Japanese player Nozomi Okuhara in the women's singles final of the Korea Open in a close encounter here today.

Rio Olympic Silver medallist Sindhu, who had lost to Okuhara in an epic World Badminton Championships final three weeks back, got the better of the eighth seed beating her in today's match 22-20, 11-21, 21-18 a game that lasted one hour and 24 minutes.
