Ganguly was operated upon on January 1 at the Woodlands hospital in the city after the BCCI president fell sick while doing gyms at his south Kolkata home.

Ganguly has been diagnosed with triple vessel disease, meant all three arteries of heart were found blockage.

The latest operation was done in the presence of Devi Shetty and Aswin Mehtha, who airdashed into the early today.

Chief minister Mamata Banerjee visited the hospital to see the ailing BCCI president.

Dr Saroj Mondal said Ganguly was doing fine right now. (UNI)
