Bengaluru: After getting a thrashing at the hands of India at Ahmedabad, the downbeat Pakistan players had something to cheer about after landing in the city here on Sunday.
They celebrated their captain Babar Azam's birthday by cutting cake at a hotel room, and did not have any practice session.
This was confirmed by Pakistan Cricket which posted the said video on X, a micro-blogging platform.
Pakistan will take on Australia on October 20 at Chinnaswamy Stadium. They last played here in 2012, and had beaten India in the first of the two-match T20I series.
Pakistan have also played in the Garden City in 1996 World Cup quarterfinals and in the finals of 1999 Pepsi Cup. Indian won the former match, and the later was clinched by Pakistan by 123 runs. (UNI)
