Dhaka: A mob vandalised and torched the house of former Bangladesh cricket captain Mashrafe bin Mortaza in Narail district on Monday night.
Mortaza, an MP of erstwhile ruling Awami League, was not at home when his house was attacked by protestors, hours after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled the country following a military coup amidst a deadly students-led protest that led to loss of over 300 lives in clashes across the country.
