Bihar: Class 9 girl shot in neck by young coaching student, CCTV footage goes viral (VIDEO)

Patna: In a horrifying incident, a minor girl student who was shot by a young student of private coaching in Sipara locality under the Beur police station area was struggling between life and death at a private hospital in the state capital.

Police said here on Thursday that the condition of the injured girl was stated to be serious and was admitted to a private hospital in the Kankarbagh area.

The police said that on the basis of CCTV footage, the search operation to nab the culprit was going on.

Earlier a young student of private coaching shot a minor girl student in her neck from point-blank range in street number 4 of Indrapuri of Sipara locality under Beur police station area on Wednesday evening when she was returning from her coaching. The CCTV footage of the incident went viral.

The victim girl is a daughter of a vegetable vendor in Sipara Tej Sao.

The police was investigating into the case to ascertain the reason behind the incident. (UNI)
