In a heart-wrenching incident, a young boy was beheaded when he stopped a man and his mother from stealing fruits in Begusarai district of Bihar.

The incident took place in Badkurba village (Mansoorchak police station area) of Begusarai district, where a 12-year-old boy’s throat was slit in broad daylight.

Victim’s father Anil Mahato has lodged a case in Mansoorchak police station and demanded strict action against the accused. The father has accused a youth of the village and his mother for the brutal murder.

The villagers handed over the accused mother-son duo of cold-blooded murder to the police. Anil Mahato said that there is a orchard behind his house. Accused Vijay and his mother Gajiya Devi often stole fruits from there.

Anil Mahato's two sons Ankush and Ansh were playing in the orchard in the afternoon. Then, accused Vijay and his mother came to steal palm fruit. When Ankush and Ansh stopped them from stealing, Vijay (accused) got furious and started chasing them away.

Ansh (younger son) ran away from there, but Vijay caught Ankush. Ansh reached home and informed his parents about the incident. Anil Mahato and his wife Reena Devi rushed to the orchard. As soon as the accused Vijay saw them, he ran away from there.

According to Vijay Mahato, accused Vijay had Ankush's head in one hand and a Gandasa (axe) in the other. When Vijay chased the accused, he threw the severed head and ran towards the forest.

The police have registered a case and started investigation.
