An ATC officer in Uttarakhand was found dead in his bedroom under suspicious circumstances. The deceased was wearing women's clothes and makeup.
On receiving the information, the police took the body in their custody, sent it for postmortem and started the investigation.
The incident is believed to have taken place somewhere around midnight. The police started investigating the case from different angles such as sexual disorder, blackmailing and online activity.
On previous day, Ashish Chaunsali, assistant manager working at Pantnagar airport, partied till late evening and three people living in the house went to sleep at 10:30 pm.
When Ashish didn’t open the door after several knocks, his nephew Akash, along with his friend Bharat and neighbours broke the door that left everyone shocked.
Ashish was found hanging with the help of a dupatta and he was dressed like a woman. He was wearing salwar, blouse and nighty. He was also wearing a wig with long hair, lipstick on his lips and a bindi on his forehead.
Everyone was stunned to see Ashish in women's attire.
No suicide note has been found from the spot.
