Indore. A sensational incident in Indore's Zoo came to the fore. A young man jumped into a lion's cage and stayed there for half an hour. The whole incident was captured by CCTV cameras placed outside the zoo canteen.

During this time he also climbed to the loft. He was throwing stones from the scaffold and yelled at Lions. This is the same loft on which lions often take rest. When people saw him, they thought him to be a zoo employee. But he remained in the enclosure for a long time. During this time he also fired crackers.

When the zoo employees caught him, they pulled him out of the enclosure. According to the staff, the young man was intoxicated and was not able to speak properly. He was reportedly mentally ill. At present the youth has been handed over to the police. This incident has once again raised questions about the safety of the zoo. (WD)
