Mangaluru: A case has been registered against a person by Kundapur police for eve-teasing after a girl student beat him up with her footwear.
A video of this incident is doing rounds in social media. As the student was walking from her hostel to college, the accused Nazeer from Barkur, came near to her and began to harass her in an inappropriate manner from behind.
Frightened, the student screamed, alerting the local residents who rushed to rescue her. One of the residents held the collar of the accused, allowing the student to beat him with her shoe.

In a follow-up action, the police were called to the scene, and the accused was handed over to them. (UNI)
