ON CAMERA: Retired soldier dancing with tricolour on patriotic song dies of heart attack in Indore

A heart-rending video of retired army personnel suffering a heart attack while dancing on patriotic song and holding tricolor at a special event in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore is going viral on the social media.

The deceased has been identified as Balbinder Singh Chawda. He was performing at a free yoga camp organised by a group called the Aastha Yoga Kranti Abhiyan at Agrasen Dham in Futi Kothi area.

The 55-second video clip shows Chawda performing on patriotic song holding Indian flag as audience were clapping with the song beats.

After few seconds, Chawda is seen collapsing on the stage and the flag fall from his hand. Then one of the organisers picks up the flag and continues to wave it as the soldier lies on the stage and the audience continues clapping assuming that the fall was part of the act.



However, when he didn’t get up, a few people realise something is wrong, and rushed to him and checks on him.

The retired soldier had reportedly suffered a heart attack and he died on the spot.
