Pitbull dog attacks 8-year-old standing outside home in Noida, bites his leg and stomach

An 8-year-old child was bitten by a 'Pitbull' breed dog in Sorkha village of Sector-113 police station area in Noida, the police said.

The police said that Santosh of Sorkha village lodged a case last night that her eight-year-old son Siddhant was standing outside his home on Sunday night when the 'pitbull dog' of a person named Abhishek bit him.

He said that Siddhant has been admitted to a hospital for treatment in critical condition. He suffered deep wounds on his leg and stomach due to the dog attack. He is very much scared after the incident.

According to Santosh, the dog's owner was asked several times to put a 'mouth cover' on the dog's mouth but he did not pay heed to the advice. The police have taken the dog's owner into custody and he is being interrogated.
