A dancer tragically died after being strangled by her boyfriend during a "sex game that went wrong". The boyfriend also took his own life later.
Georgia May Brooke, 26, from Ossett, West Yorkshire, passed away in Bradford Royal Infirmary in the early hours of Friday, February 4, 2022. Her boyfriend, personal trainer and gym owner, Luke Cannon, was found dead later that day, having taken his own life.
When paramedics arrived at Luke's home, following his 999 call they found Georgia naked and without a pulse on his bed.
Despite CPR and adrenaline injections Georgina was pronounced dead at 12.34am at Bradford Royal Infirmary.
Following the tragic death of Georgia, her mother was told that her daughter had been 'strangled during sex', and she believes Luke was responsible for killing her daughter.
During the hearing, the jury found out that Georgia's death was caused by 'manual strangulation', compounded by the use of 'party drug' GHB and cocaine.
A nurse who conversed with Luke at the hospital disclosed that he admitted they had been using GHB for a 'euphoric sensation' during sex.
In a statement, a friend described Georgia and Luke's relationship as one fuelled by "sex and drugs", adding that they would often "choke each other".
