Yamunanagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met a man who had stopped wearing shoes 14 years back with a vow that he would roam barefoot until Modi becomes PM and made him wear shoes.

Following this, Haryana Chief Minister posted a video on his X account and said that the PM met Kaithal resident Rampal Kashyap in Yamunanagar and made him wear a pair of shoes.

"Common man's love and attachment for the PM makes him unique. That's why Modi is the world's most popular leader," Saini said in the tweet.
