The tweets coming from the B-town are mostly in the favour of students of jamia millia islamia University in the recent stone-pelting and arson case. It looks like netizens are miffed with the celebs vouching for students who were allegedly booked by police for creating a nuisance. This is the reason #ShameonyouBollywood stated trending today on twitter.
Actress Parineeti Chopra tweeted "If this is what’s gonna happen every time a citizen expresses their view, forget #CAB, we should pass a bill and not call our country a democracy anymore! Beating up innocent human beings for speaking their mind? BARBARIC."
