New Delhi: India reported 2,124 new Covid-19 cases, the Union Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
With this, the tally touched 4,31,42,192, while the toll stood at 5,24,507 as 17 more succumbed to the disease.
Total 1,977 more people recovered from the disease, taking the total tally to 4,26,02,714. The recovery rate stands at 98.75 per cent.
The active caseload currently stands at 14,971, the figures showed.
As per the bulletin, 84.79 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.
India has administered 192.67 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive. (UNI)
