New Delhi, Nov 11 (UNI) The Delhi Government on Saturday called off the 'controversial' Odd-Even scheme, following the National Green Tribunal's refusal to grant exemption from the scheme to women and two-wheelers.
The decision was taken by the Aam Aadmi Party Government during an emergency meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
According to Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot, 'In view of the conditions put up by the National Green Tribunal, refusing exemption to women and two-wheelers, the government has decided to call off the scheme, for the time being.'
