Maharashtra rapes minor daughter several times, gets 20-year jail

Kolhapur: A man who sexually abused his minor daughter has been sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment by a Maharashtra court, a lawyer said on Wednesday.
 
Chief district session judge Kavita Agraval sentenced Jagnnath Yashwant Aadke (47), resident of Ganpati Gali Kodoli, in Panhala tehsil of this district, who sexually abused the victim on a number of occasions in January 2020 and also slapped a fine of Rs 1,000.
 
The minor victim was studying in a local Anganwadi, police said.
 
Public Prosecutor Manjusha Patil said the accused sexual abused his daughter many times in January, 2020, he also threatened her not to tell this to anyone.
 
Patil said that total 12 witnesses were examined during the trial.
