Rocky, son of suspended JD (U) MLC, sentenced to life imprisonment in a road rage accident

Gaya: A local court today sentenced Rocky Yadav, son of suspended JD(U) MLC Manorma Devi, and two others to life imprisonment in road rage murder of Aditya Sachdeva, son of a leading businessman in Gaya on May 07 last year. After hearing arguments of both sides, Additional District and Sessions Judge Sachidanand Singh sentenced Rocky Yadav, his cousin Tenny Yadav and bodyguard Rajesh Kumar to life imprisonment in the infamous road rage case. Rocky Yadav`s father Bindi Yadav, former chairman of Gaya district board was given five years imprisonment by the court in the case.

The court slapped a penalty of Rs 1 lakh against Rocky and a sum of Rs 50,000 against the three other convicts. The court had convicted Rocky Yadav and three others on August 31 and fixed the date for today for pronouncing quantum of punishment of the convicts. Heavy police deployment has been made inside the court premises in the wake of the judgement. (UNI)
