Several detained at Jamia Millia Islamia University over screening of BBC documentary

New Delhi: Delhi Police on Wednesday detained 13 students of Jamia Millia Islamia University for creating a ruckus over University administration's decision to deny screening of BBC documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
 
According to the police, a screening of the BBC Documentary was to be organised by a group of Jamia Students inside the university today, which was not allowed by the administration of the University.
 
The University administration informed the police that some students were creating ruckus on the streets and therefore several students were detained around 4 pm to ensure peace in the area, police said. (UNI)
