Uttar Pradesh: 2 youths run over by Delhi-bound Humsafar Express while making reel near Railway track in Etawah (VIDEO)

Etawah (UP): Two youths were killed after being run over by a train while making reel along the Railway track in Ekdil area of Etawah district in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, a senior police officer said here.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sanjay Kumar said that the incident took place in the morning when two friends Anuj Kumar (20) and Ranjit (16) were making reels on their mobile phones near a railway track. "During this, they were run over by Delhi-bound Humsafar Express," he said.

Ekdil police station In-Charge Bheemsem said that the driver of Humsafar Express informed the railway station that two persons had been run over by the train.

Family members of the youth said that Anuj and Ranjit worked as painters in Ahmedabad Gujarat. They came home to celebrate Diwali on October 29.
