Saharanpur (UP): A coach of Delhi-Shamli passenger train derailed at the goods warehouse near Saharanpur railway station on Saturday, official sources said here.
Inspector of Railway Protection Force (RPF) Mohit Tyagi said that the train was going for washing when one of its coaches derailed. After receiving the information the railway officials and employees reached the spot and started working to restore the derailed coach.
Saharanpur Congress MP Imran Masood, who reached the spot, expressed anguish over the incident. He said that during the current session of Parliament, many railway accidents have taken place and Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav is busy patting his own back.
He said that the manner in which trains are getting derailed every day, passengers have started fearing to board trains.
