3 Guinness World Records made in Prayagraj before PM’s arrival

Prayagraj: Hours before the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for participating in a mega function to distribute equipment and assistive aids to the differently-abled (divyangjans) and senior citizens here, the Sangam city set three Guinness World records.
 
Officials said a team from Guinness World Records, London, which reached here on Friday, has recorded the entire event and announced that three records have been achieved.

The function named as Samajik Adhikarita Shivir is being held at the Parade ground near Sangam where the Prime Minister along with UP Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will participate on Saturday.

On Friday, evening, the first record was made of 1.8 kilometer long tri-cycle parade in which the differently-abled were seated in 300 tricycles.

The other two records were made on Saturday morning when 600 wheel chairs were paraded in which 400 were occupied by ‘divyangjans’.

The last record was made when 600 tri-cycles were distributed among the divyangjans and others. (UNI)
