Really! A Jobless husband demanded dowry and harassed his wife serving in Police

Thane: A woman and her son from Nashik have been booked on the alleged charges of harassing a newly married woman, a police constable attached to the Mumbai police control room for dowry, the police said on Tuesday.In a complaint, the victim stated that in June 2017, she was married to the alleged accused at Nashik and lived there for some months. Later, she was transferred to the police control room at Mumbai. Her husband was jobless, she stated. 

She also alleged that the husband and mother-in-law harassed her for dowry and also hacked her e-mail account and tampered with her mobile and spread unwanted messages against her among her relatives and friends.An offence is registered under Sections 498A, 323,504,506 and 406 of the IPC and also Sections 66 of the IT Act of 2000, police added.(UNI)
