Chandigarh: With a view to maintain law and order situation in the State, Haryana Government has set up a State Riot Control Centre at Police Headquarter in sector-6, Panchkula. Stating this here today, a Police Department spokesman said that the Centre is operational round-the-clock for the assistance to the people.
He said that anybody who have any information about law and order or riots or required police assistance, he could contact State Riot Control Centre on phone numbers 0172-2587905, Fax No. 0172-2587906. Apart from this, they could also contact phone numbers 0172-2587901 upto 2587904 or 100. Information provided by them would be kept secret, he added. (UNI)
