Father arrested for raping minor stepdaughter in Indore

Indore: A man has been arrested on the charge of raping his 11-year-old stepdaughter in Madhya Pradesh's commercial capital, police said.

The culprit had been sexually assaulting the victim since a long time. He used to perpetrate the crime in the absence of her mother. He was arrested while he was planning to escape from the city last night. 

The victim, who had not been able to share her agony due to threat from her stepfather, mustered courage and narrated her ordeal to her mother yesterday. On the basis of her mother's complaint, a case has been registered against the accused.(UNI)
