Mehbooba Mufti escapes unhurt in a road accident in Jammu & Kashmir's Anantnag

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir’s Former Chief Minister and Peoples Democratic Party President, Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday escaped unhurt when her vehicle met with an accident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
 
Officials said Mehbooba's car met with an accident at Sangam Bhijbehara when she was on way to Anantnag to meet fire victims.
 
"There were no injuries reported in the accident. However, the vehicle in which she was traveling got damaged," they said.
 
Mehbooba's daughter Ilitia said car met with a terrible accident enroute Anantnag today.
 
"Thanks to the grace of god she & her security officers escaped unhurt without any serious injuries," Iltija said in a post on X.
 
After the accident, Mehbooba met the fire victims in Anantnag.
 
At least a dozen structures were gutted in a massive fire that broke out in the Boat Colony area of Khanabal in Anantnag on late Tuesday.
